about

Landon Wordswell teams up with A June & J Beat to make the jazz inspired LP, "And All That Jazz". Hailing from the upper left region of the United States, the emcee reaches far and wide for the sounds he's longing for and locates the producer duo representing both South Korea (A June) and Columbia (J Beat). This will be Landon's sophomore album directing away from the conceptual story telling style displayed in his first album, "The Mourning After Pill", to show other skill sets in his repertoire.

Landon talking: I mean.. I'm trying to see what forever's like ya nah'mean? Ha By the way, this is NOT a love song

Hook:
Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey You and me - me and you What you think of that? Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey You and me - me and you What you think of that?

Verse 1:
Uh Yo I want to make it last I'm done covering and dressing up my naked past I did what I did and I am what I am I don't need a chance to explain All the answers got damn See, I did a couple tours & I pampered the fam Jammed amps in a grand dam and planned in advance It's not traditional - but I'm doing fine through the biz I was told that a Man's job defines who he is That's where my patience runs thin I ain't got time for the shit Sometimes I rather be single - bringing dimes to the crib But I don't wanna be lonely - I'm not designed or equipped But they always leave once I put my grind in the mix Like they didn't know my grind would exist - Um, no When you met me I was rappin' - you were in the front row not here to place blame I'm here to talk about it Because a life without love; I'm getting lost without it

Hook:
Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey You and me - me and you What you think of that? Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey You and me - me and you What you think of that?

Verse 2:
They keep saying the kid's crazy and the dude's insane Because I keep putting these women second to the music game But ain't a damn thing changing Got my lane open Never closing; I owe the folks With the same notion love him and they hate him but they love him cuz they hate him though! Attracted to my passion - that's the same thing that made em go! I'm supposed to play the role - bad guy extraordinaire Bad boyfriend never home & that's sorta hard to bare I get it and I understand the plight's getting tense But never ever did I long for that white picket fence On the road Show to show Showing folks Blow for blow That's the only thing I've taught myself I'm really supposed to know I got a son now - so I'm influential I can't quit because that could limit his potential We could be happy if we understand each other But that's gon' take space and respect for one another

Hook:
Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey You and me - me and you What you think of that? Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey Heyo hey hey o hey You and me - me and you What you think of that?

Outro:
Hey hey I want to make it last Hey hey I want to make it last Hey hey I want to make it last You and me - me and you What you make of that? Hey hey I want to make it last Hey hey I want to make it last Hey hey I want to make it last You and me - me and you What you make of that?
Track Name: Spin Cycle (Dirty Laundry)
Baby Kamari talking: *baby talk*
Kamari mom talking: Hahaha Kamari.
Kamari. Hey, son. Hi. Hi. Hi Baby Kamari talking: *baby talk* Kamari mom talking: Are you talking? Baby Kamari & Kamari mom talking: *baby talk*

Verse 1: Uh And she can feel it when she talks to me She knows I understand her pain; I think about it thoughtfully On the road - touring with the crowd in my face She says that she could cry a tear for every mile I'm away And it's crazy because she's raising my baby boy at the homestead told me she could hold it down - as long as I bring home bread Argue back and forth - a lot of frustration And I say stupid shit like, "you wonder why we aint dating" Writing the real - trying not to cry from the thought of Thinking I'm just like my fuckin' biological father With a Head full of bullshit rhetoric and these clever quotes Like "C'est La Vie" & "if you love her you should her go" Now - I just want to protect my son So going on tour's is the hardest thing I've ever done Pictures won't suffice; videos ain't enough So I hit em up on skype & I hate myself with a grudge

Hook: 2x: You gotta own it Take it Nothing's Sacred Love it hate it Or leave it alone 2x: It's the spin cycle It's the spin cycle Love it hate it Or leave it alone Bridge: It goes round and round and round and round it goes round and round and round It goes round and round and round and round it goes round and round and round It goes round and round and round and round it goes round and round and round It goes round and round and round and round it goes round It goes round

Verse 2: You want a piece of my heart? You can find it in songs But not at home That's why she makes me feel like I'm in the wrong Rightfully so I put my life in mics with these quotes But never talk to her about it for the life of me tho That's just where my mind is I'm just being honest Trying to find solutions; We really need to find it. Im just thinking about my son Because one day he's going to ask How we could love each other but our love didn't last

Hook: 2x: You gotta own it Take it Nothing's Sacred Love it hate it Or leave it alone 2x: It's the spin cycle It's the spin cycle Love it hate it Or leave it alone

Verse 3: Uh You said what you said - your decision's made 2013 - we broke up on Christmas Day I know when I'm wrong I'm just owning the truth So even when I don't admit it - I'm just as lonely as you I'm only a man - I'm not proud of myself But I'll be damned to cop out and say it's a cry out for help built foundation on the fact That opposites attract But I guess it didn't work We're way too opposite for that But I'm done being angry I'm done being mad though Too old to hold a grudge Plus your fiends think I'm an asshole I feel what you say if you say what you feel And at this point I don't know what else to say but the real & We've both tried so damn hard just to stir from wrong But you become who you despise out of fear alone Look, I was blessed just to witness you You're a beautiful person - don't let this get to you

Outro: It goes round and round and round and round it goes round and round and round Leave it alone It goes round and round and round and round it goes round and round and round Leave it alone It goes round and round and round and round it goes round and round and round Leave it alone It goes round and round and round and round it goes round It goes round
Track Name: Solo (Feat. Mostafa)
Hook: Wait wait No no They stay solo Days on the road and the stage stay loco Wait wait no no They stay solo Days on the road And it take and take, takes wait wait No no They stay solo Days on the road and the stage stay loco Wait wait no no They stay solo Days on the road And it take and take, takes

Verse 1: Landon I never could beat the odds They say a relationship It's like work But I never could keep a job I got a lot of temptations in my line of work I put assignments first when I spit and shine a verse. Looking through the dirt for dimes Dime a dozen diamond worth Always fall too easily soon's I see her mind at work Go get you a good one - yea those were my mama's words But I had a couple those Let em go and to rhyme a verse hard to hit the road when I love you so much And right before I gotta go we got too much to discuss Your friends relationships seem nice enough when it's rough But stop talking about them when the subject is us On the other hand - It'd break my heart to see you out with another man I Didn't say it made sense - it's just another jam I don't think you've even got a clue about the kind of hurt that hurts me just to be without you

Hook: It goes wait wait No no They stay solo Days on the road and the stage stay loco Wait wait no no They stay solo Days on the road And it take and take, takes wait wait No no They stay solo Days on the road and the stage stay loco Wait wait no no They stay solo Days on the road And it take and take, takes

Verse 2: MoStafa Sometimes it's hard to keep the heart exposed Focused on flaws to write a flawless poem Fall alone, Float to the stars if I could follow zones Caught up on the path to make a promise grow On the road Out to build a castle we could call a home With every step I feel the pressure of your presence Pressing me to redirect you're feeling disconnected I feel it start to wobble though I'm not trying to let it All I can do is hope you feel the message C'mon We can't build from the bottom unbottled emotions killing problems Just to let it all fall apart in the process Bet it's love but I'm starving here as an artist And tortured each time the clock ticks without a little progress Challenged by balance I battle against the calluses Captivated by cancerous cannibalistic prowesses Wishing you could see past it and keep me passionate If it's real I wanna know what everlasting is

Verse 3: You were there when I ain't have a profit to gain When I was stuck in the storm You were blocking the rain & There's no stopping the pain I know a lot of it's changed I know the plot is so comprised with lots of dollars and fame That's not my aim darlin' That's not my ain't suga' I gotta recipe for something fame can't cook up Compliments to the chef - You have to work at-it Sprinkle some dedication with a dash of work ethic I mean I think about the things aloud when I'm on the road I told you certain things I've never ever told a soul It's all part of growth Knowing all the cards you hold Never fold Target those With the heart to start a goal I love the way you feel but we never see eye to eye And you blame me Because I never tried to try Right before I said goodbye - I knew it was over It Didn't work out now, but maybe when we're older
Track Name: Blame Me (Feat. Shea)
Landon talking: A June J Beat What up? Shea, how you feeling, girl?

Shea: Oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh oh Mmm mmhmmm

Landon talking: Sounding good Uh huh They say you got to really understand your mistakes to understand where you're going Fa real

Verse 1:
Landon Wordswell They say to follow your dreams then try tell you it's wrong They don't want any parts of it They let you fail on your own Cats are blind to the facts - I'm putting brail in my songs To write a little slice of heaven & step in hell if I don't See, my sega's got a genesis - I'm showing y'all the market But the game's getting dirty so I'm blowing out the cartridge From the booth to the jail cell - the juice to the L I was either true to my word or I was true to myself See, I think it's dope to notice those that bring you hope I overdosed the meanest quotes to show the folks that mean the most My scene's approach Opposed to those that rope a dope; This thing is close I'm trying to leave the fast lane now, but my blinker's broke

Chorus:
Shea We may cry when we reach out to an empty hand And when we fall It makes it that much easier to stand up again We're up against ourselves Our souls And you can take everything and blame me

Verse 2:
Landon Wordswell If you've ever been through some shit you've got to own it Like until I started touring again I was homeless And that's something that I swore that I would take to the grave It's hard as hell to acknowledge and even harder to say So then that's when I parted my ways Used my head for more than a hatrack That's what my father would say I sacrificed it all - friends, women and family It took me a long time to notice that's not the answer - see I had a couple girls that loved me more than I knew So I want to say sorry to the unfortunate few This will probably be the last thing I want to leave with you Sometimes bad things happen to good people, too You helped me out, but couldn't help it enough I think my point is - I was just too selfish to love And now you, you, and you hate me Sorry for going the wrong way down a two way street Ya know

Chorus/bridge:
Shea It's not you it's me It's not you it's me Take everything and blame me It's not you it's me It's not you it's me Take everything and blame me We're up against ourselves Our souls And you can take everything and blame me It's not you it's me It's not you it's me Take everything and blame me It's not you it's me Take everything and blame me
Track Name: C'est La Vie (Prod. White Rain)

Hook:
2x C'est la vie Hello, Goodbye We come, we leave We born, we die No them no we Just you and I We come, we leave We born, we die

Verse 1:
I always said I'd never do it for the girls or fame For the glitz or the glamor nor the pearls or chains My homie stayed the homie through the swirls of flames & said, "Boy, don't you stop - you got a world to change" that statement - it got me like hold up The belief in them eyes though - it lit my whole soul up This is more than a quota - more than the rhetoric Measured with better etiquette - let it get fed the predicate Eating up all the action looking for lost attractions Looking to pause the passion And pushing it off to that one This one Found myself and lost religion Said my peace to the Muslim Hindu and Christians But it hurts most - because I'm hurting my moms If we converse then you find - that's what lurks in my mind But I know deep down she ain't raise me like that And when I go home, she thinks I'm crazy I bet C'mon

Hook:
2x C'vest La Vie Hello, Goodbye We come, we leave We born, we die No them no we Just you and I We come, we leave We born, we die

Verse 2:
Who would have thought that mad kids were attracted To the awkward fat kid with the glasses I lost a lot of weight & I changed the image But I'm still the same person with the tainted blemish Doing the same shit that got me out my depression Back then it was a hobby - now it's my profession & It was hard at first because I hated haters But hip hop saved my life - I'm 'gon repay the favor And I was raised in the state of mind of chasing paper Lacing favors take ya time when the stakes are greater In the home studio slaving and waking neighbors A lifestyle of constant work - minimum wage & labor Keep thinking of the reason to stop But all you you got is yourself - it's hard to believe in a lot Can't believe in a lie - fighting to even the odds Splicing the peas in the pod Deciphering reasons to try It's like..

Hook:
2x C'vest La Vie Hello, Goodbye We come, we leave We born, we die No them no we Just you and I We come, we leave We born, we die

Verse 3:
These days it's just harder to focus Got a lot on my mind - and it's hard to expose it They keep saying it's all apart of the opus But I've already noticed That's why I've already wrote it It's hard to come home after all the people you touch But it's also hard to stay away from people you love But To give 100 percent you gotta take it first That's when you start to envy the people that make it work One man's hell is another man's heaven One man's demons is another man's reverend The way I see it, you got a couple of options You can lie - you can cheat, steal, or hustle your noggin I chose the latter Climbing higher with quotes that matter Abracadabra! they rather call me the social rapper We on the same page? I want to know the chapter Don't matter if they flip the script - we know the actors

Hook:
2x C'vest La Vie Hello, Goodbye We come, we leave We born, we die No them no we Just you and I We come, we leave We born, we die

Verse 1:
They mad at my philosophies Telling me to get real What's realer than this? My hypocrisy's at a sit still Blessed everyday I can see my only son Started off with two But now there's only one I'm impervious to pain Cause it hurts all the same First hits the veins fire flame Quoted, cursing his name and it's real Know the deal No surprise - hold it still Got that whiskey on my breath I've been hiding below the wheel

Hook:
Just ain't good Just ain't good Just ain't good enough (La da da ba da daaaa) See it just ain't good Just ain't good Just ain't good enough (La da da ba da daaaa) See it just ain't good Just ain't good Just ain't good enough (La da da ba da daaaa) Put the rest to the test The best is the best But it just ain't good enough (La da da ba da daaaa)

Verse 2
look - this life'll eat you alive You'll be dead before you even slice a piece of the pie So don't sell me this American dream Fucking arrogant scheme Swearing 'cause things aren't as fair as they seem Going dumb's the new cool that's what these characters bring So these days, we got our kids embarrassed to think Putting time into money, this money is power Wouldn't laugh for a second in the funniest hour So I don't want no de-lay Cause I don't want to be-late hit the scene Don't miss a thing Cuz I don't want a replay And they listen to the vision And the words that he say But the words that he say Switchin' up like each day You can feel it when it happens - when it happens it's on Got me playing with them emotions for like half of the song Hit the road rocking shows without a map or a phone Just intuition and a vision living trapped in the zone C'mon

Verse 3:
It's crazy how this life go by Another day another blunt - spending nights so high Put my hopes in the sky As we elope with the lies But it's the culture it's the closure It's the hope in his eyes We can keep our minds busy with the losses we take But if you never bend or break I bet you'd always be straight mama told me once - babyboy, you'd always be great I love you mama, but I'm not feeling too flawless these days see - cuz Life is just as hard as you'd said it'd be It's either money, bills, women, friends or a medley & That's why I take the Mary J and fill my lungs I used to drink instead, but I couldn't feel as numb Too often I get stuck in this rut I like happiness - but shit - I don't love it enough Here I am again looking for something I can't find But it's always alright in the end - I'll be fine

Hook:

I think not He did 30 years for nothing in bing, pops Our whole government's corrupt - we gotta live with this They were giving out death threats to witnesses Schools are funded by the government's tithes So those textbooks are filled with the government's lies They don't teach the truth about the neck wound The bricks through window - Molotovs in the bedroom A nation full of racists - and fixed court cases That spits more hatred to these kids before braces Rest in peace Martin Rest in peace Malcolm They tarnished both names just for desired outcomes But you .. Verse 2:
Gotta soul search to search for your soul Only to find that the ones you love will hurt you the most Think about it - Who else had you soaking in sorrow? At a bar with a bottle and no hope for tomorrow I'm not cynical - I'm realistic Telling your mind that it's over, but you still miss it Had the grip of a cobra on that meal ticket But now you're drunk off that Cobra and you still sip it Look, Picking up that bottle never learning your lesson The reminiscent thoughts now turn to obsessions The answers that you had - They turn to the questions Reconfirming the stress & the anger turns to depression The danger's permanent - yes - & the flame is burning ya chest and The spark you had was a flash in the pan to learn for the next one Don't run - you won't get far Just take it and embrace it - because when that pain comes it's gon' hit hard

You can fast forward but you can't rewind Shit'll have you Arm wrestling with the hands of time I'm stressing and shit Learned a lot about my Heath A lot about the wealth but not about myself Found out I drank to cope with my depression Punched the mirror because it wasn't good at Self reflection If you give me all day I'll find excuses for it all Document the rise and fall hide the flaws by default My time is spent focused on the compliments & I'm convince that the competence is the consequence There Nothing like ingenuity and know how Everything seems so foul Knowing what I know now They love you just to hate you & hate you just to love you Learn you words to manipulate your phrases and it's subtle So before they even get hype trying to keep my lips tight Stop focusing on they flaws & got my shit right
